The 5-Minute Routine
Minute 1: Face Wake-Up
Use your fingertips to gently press along your eyebrows (Yintang area), then circle outward to your temples. This stimulates blood flow to the face and helps wake up the mind.
Minute 2: Crown Point (GV20 - Baihui)
Located at the top of your head, on the midline where a line from the top of your ears would meet. Press gently with your middle finger for 30 seconds. Known to clear the mind and improve focus.
Minute 3: Hand Points (LI4 - Hegu)
Located in the web between your thumb and index finger. Press firmly for 30 seconds on each hand. This is one of the most versatile points for overall wellness.
Minute 4: Shoulder Release (GB21 - Jianjing)
Located at the highest point of your shoulder muscles. Use your opposite hand to press and hold for 20 seconds on each side. Great for releasing overnight tension.
Minute 5: Deep Breathing
Place one hand on your belly and breathe deeply for one minute. This activates your parasympathetic nervous system and sets a calm, focused tone for the day.
